Star Carz sells certified pre-owned cars in Punjab. The app puts the Ludhiana showroom's inventory in the hands of buyers across Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, and the rest of the state, so you can shortlist a car before you visit.
The problem
Buying a used car in Punjab runs on word of mouth and lot visits. You drive to a showroom, trust a salesman on condition and price, then repeat until something fits. Most listings sit on classifieds with thin details and no inspection behind them. Star Carz wanted its inventory online, with a certification on every car that buyers could rely on.
What we built
- A browsable catalog of certified used cars, spanning compact cars, sedans, and SUVs
- Vehicle detail pages that lay out the specifics of each car so you can compare before you commit
- Certification and inspection status on each listing, placing the quality claim next to the car
- A direct line to the dealer to take a car toward financing and paperwork
- A companion website at starcarz.in that mirrors the inventory for buyers who start on desktop
How we worked
We build in weekly increments you can open and use. Your feedback reaches the engineers who write the code. The team that builds the app is the team that maintains it, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
The outcome
Star Carz shipped to Google Play and to the web. It runs today for buyers across Punjab, with the Play listing updated in July 2026 and past 5,000 downloads. The showroom in Ludhiana now has a storefront that works before anyone walks in.
